This course on computer eyewear consists of two parts
Lesson One of this course explains "Computer Vision Syndrome"
and its causes and effects. Lesson Two covers "Dispensing Computer
Eyewear" and how to enhance the value and benefits of computer-specific
eyewear.

- Neck/shoulder pain
- Other musculoskeletal difficulties
Typical CVS Symptoms
- Eye Strain or Fatigue
- Headaches
- Slow focusing at distance
- Dry Eyes
- Neck or shoulder pain
Why do these symptoms occur?
- Most offices are not designed for the special visual demands arising from computer use
- Many offices (and homes) have poor illumination
- Glare on screen can be a source of distraction or annoyance
- Inappropriate positioning of monitors, positioned too high or too low
